Your bank gives you its FinTS URL (the server address for finance software, often listed under “FinTS” or “HBCI PIN/TAN”). Where anything here differs from your bank’s information, the bank is right.
What we know
Not tested yet: nobody has confirmed that fints-cli works with Volks- und Raiffeisenbank. Most German banks offer FinTS 3.0 with PIN/TAN, but TAN methods and details differ from bank to bank.

Setting it up
- Register your own FinTS product ID with the Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft (free, about 10–15 working days). How
- Buy fints-cli and install it from the private repository: docs.
- Add the bank to
~/.config/fints-cli/config.toml(right), with your bank’s FinTS URL. - Run
fints accountsand approve in your banking app if the bank asks.
