Tested: fints-cli has been used with GLS Gemeinschaftsbank.

Tested with fints-cli 0.1.0 on 23 Oct 2026: accounts, balances and transactions (CAMT) via PIN/TAN with SecureGo plus.

Setting it up

  1. Register your own FinTS product ID with the Deutsche Kreditwirtschaft (free, about 10–15 working days). How
  2. Buy fints-cli and install it from the private repository: docs.
  3. Add the bank to ~/.config/fints-cli/config.toml (right), with your bank’s FinTS URL.
  4. Run fints accounts and approve in your banking app if the bank asks.
